NYSCC Suppliers’ Day 2019 was held in New York City on 7-8 May. As Suppliers’ Day is an IFSCC Silver Benefactor, Dr Fuji Kanda of the Japanese Society was partially sponsored by the IFSCC to deliver his talk on ‘J-Beauty’. Another former IFSCC Praesidium Member, Dr Vania Leite of Brazil, gave a talk on Neuroscience and Beauty.

In attendance, to promote the IFSCC 2019 Milan Conference, were several members of the Italian Society, including IFSCC Vice President Emanuele Piras. Suppliers’ Day this year featured a Scavenger Hunt on both days, awarding an all-expenses paid trip to the Milan Conference to the winner of each day. Both winners visited over 30 Booths and entered a special code into their Suppliers’ Day app to become eligible to win. The winner of Day 1 was Roanne Reyes of ACT Solutions (pictured centre below) and the winner of Day 2 was Hulya Demirci of Ecoco. Both winners were surprised and delighted to win.

Gearing up for the 2021 Cancun Conference, current Praesidium Members Eva Ramos and past Praesidium Member Maria Theresa Alvarez also joined us in New York.

As the largest event of its kind in the US, Suppliers’ Day is always a major highlight of the year. We look forward to next year’s event on 5-6 May 2020.
