Naturally Derived Polymers for Cosmetic Formulations: a Future Perspective – Webinar 19 October

10/12/2022

For our next webinar on Wednesday 19 October we are fortunate to have the always popular Tony O’Lenick speaking to us again, this time sharing his Keynote Lecture from the IFSCC 2022 London Congress, presented on Tuesday 20 September for Session 9A – Science & technologies behind cutting-edge ingredients. The presentation is Naturally Derived Polymers for Cosmetic Formulations – a Future Perspective.

There are a number of different approaches available to make raw materials to address different aspects of sustainability. These approaches include source substitution and totally new polymer development. To better understand the substantivity of these new polymer classes Tony will introduce the ‘BRAG’ system used to evaluate new materials to determine their potential improved sustainability and will speculate on their potential use in cosmetic products of the future.
