Our next IFSCC Webinar

05/25/2021

The IFSCC has only recognized 3 IFSCC Fellows, an honorary designation recognizing accomplished scientists who have contributed significantly to the IFSCC through leadership and/or service.

Meet one of these outstanding individuals:  Dr. Fuji Kanda of the Society of Cosmetic Chemists of Japan (SCCJ).

Fuji served as IFSCC Chair of Science for eight years, creating 3 new IFSCC science awards and the “IFSCC Amsterdam Protocol” to determine Praesidium seat allocation and Congress Host eligibility.  He has organized the Zone 2 annual meetings for many years, and served as Vice Chair of the SCCJ International Committee for 16 years.

These official positions do not fully describe how much Fuji has contributed to the IFSCC. Or how much past and current Praesidium Members rely on Fuji for his institutional memory, ability to bridge cultures, and dedication to fairness and transparency.

Fuji retired from Shiseido after 35 years, and now runs his own consulting business. But you’ll never guess what career he originally wanted to pursue. For that, and other surprising insights into this pillar of the IFSCC, you’ll need to join our webinar.

One more thing – you’ll be able to meet IFSCC Ambassador, Michelle Lu, who will interview Dr. Kanda for this webinar.

The webinar will be Wednesday 2 June:   7h Mexico City = 8h NYC = 13h UK = 14h Europe/S.Africa = 15h Tel Aviv/Moscow = 17h30 New Delhi = 20h Beijing = 21h Japan / Korean = 22h Melbourne.
