Introduction to Neuromarketing in Cosmetics – Webinar 15 November



Internationally recognized as an expert in this emerging field, John Jiménez was a Keynote Speaker at the IFSCC 2023 Barcelona Congress and we are delighted that he has agreed to present an IFSCC webinar on the fascinating topic of Neuromarketing in Cosmetics. John will look at the basics of neuromarketing, the theory of implicit evaluations and how these represent an innovation opportunity for the cosmetics industry. We will also introduce the notions of the three key concepts of neuromarketing: Attention, Memory and Emotion, including an overview of traditional methods, such as biometric techniques, neuroimaging tools and market examples.

​​​​​​Recently named Zone 3 Co-Editor of the IFSCC Magazine, John Jiménez is a Pharmacist (National University of Colombia) with a Master’s in Sustainable Development and specialization studies in Marketing, Applied Neuromarketing and Cosmetic Science. He has 30 scientific publications and a book chapter on cosmetic formulation.
John won the IFSCC 2004 Maison G de Navarre Prize, the IFSCC 2016 Henry Maso Award, and and best scientific paper at Colamiqc Ecuador 2009, Colamiqc Brazil 2013 and Farmacosmética Colombia 2014. He was Keynote Speaker at the 33rd IFSCC Congress in Barcelona 2023.​​​​​​​
In 2005 John joined Belcorp and is currently a Senior Researcher there.
In his spare time he enjoys doing synesthetic wine tastings and will soon receive the title of International Sommelier from the Wine Institute of Argentina.
