Are you a scientist aged under 35 and a national of, and living in, one of the Specified Developing Countries as listed by the UN’s Human Development Index (HDI)? Or do you know someone who is? If so this is an opportunity to win the 2025 Rainer Voegeli Travel Grant (RVTG). The winner will present their work as a Poster at the 2025 IFSCC Congress in Cannes, France. The award will cover round-trip coach/economy class travel to Cannes, Congress registration fees and four nights at a hotel. Applicants don’t even have to be members of an IFSCC Member Society!

To be considered for the 2025 grant applicants need to have had an abstract accepted by the Cannes Congress Scientific Board. The deadline for abstracts is coming up very soon – Wednesday 15 January.

To apply send a CV, a copy of your passport (or other national ID document) and a copy of the accepted abstract to the SWISS SCC (Swiss Society of Cosmetic Chemists) at rvtgrant@swissscc.ch
The subject line should read ‘2025 Travel Grant submission’.

The final decision on the award winner will be made by the board of the Swiss Society of Cosmetic Chemists, together with Rainer Voegeli.
