It is with an immense sadness that we share the news of the sudden and tragic passing of Kim MacCallum (Kimmy).

Kim joined Coschem in 2004, and the first time I (Bridget MacDonald) met her, she was so heavily pregnant, I thought Morgan (her daughter) was going to arrive during our AGM. As a youngster, Morgan continued to attend Coschem meetings, helping us to pack goody bags and set up events. There are so many fond memories of these two assisting the sub committees. Always laughing and supporting each other.

Kim has been an integral part of the close-knit Coschem family for 18  years. She completed her Cosmetic Science Diploma in 2005 and subsequently became a lecturer and assignment marker for the Cosmetic Science Course.

She chaired our Social Committee (so many fun events like the golf days, year end luncheons etc), joined our Council and became Coschem President in 2020. She was an exemplary leader and mentor and continued to support Coschem even after she completed her Office Bearer duties.

She was the Sales and Marketing Manager for Vantage Specialty Chemicals for 10 years and brought a new dynamic to their Team.

Kim was a ray of sunlight and encouraged everyone she met. She was an inspiration and motivation to us all!

She will be sorely missed!
