IFSCC/in-cosmetics Paris 2016: Innovation in Cosmetic products in the R&D view

Examining the driving forces in cosmetic innovation, including: multifunctionality; personalisation; protection and prevention from evolution of lifestyle; natural & bio-sourcing ingredient & packaging; davanced technologies (eg 3D printer); advanced scientific knowledge – microbiome; hyper-connexion – beauty connected objects. All of these driving forces give us huge potential for innovation. Innovation will come from our capacity to face challenges including: changes in consumer beheaviour; the integration of digital to give intelligence to objects; development of advanced technologies such as 3D printing; and the progress of advanced scientific knowledge.
