Honorary Mention for Megumi Kaji in Henry Maso Award

10/07/2022

We had a seriously impressive collection of applications for the Henry Maso Award this year. So impressive in fact that for the first time ever we felt we had to award an Honorary Mention to the second placed paper! The paper from Megumi Kaji of POLA Chemical Industries – Do-It-Yourself Cosmetics – The Pleasure of Creating Your Own Emulsions – is positively inspirational and will strike a chord with many.

The Henry Maso Award is presented at IFSCC Congresses in even-numbered years to the author of the best paper by a young scientist in an issue of the IFSCC Magazine published in the preceding two years.

For the 2024 award this must be a paper published after the IFSCC 2021 Cancún Conference but before the IFSCC 2023 Barcelona Congress. The author must be not older than 40 years on the date of the paper submission. The winner will be awarded a trip to the 2024 IFSCC Congress in Foz do Iguaçu, Brazil to accept the Award, with the cost of travel, accommodation and registration fees up to 5000 Swiss Francs being reimbursed by the IFSCC.
