IFSCC Educational Programs

The IFSCC offers a variety of on-site educational programs designed to strengthen cosmetic science knowledge through direct engagement and hands-on learning.

These events bring expert instructors to local Member Societies, offering immersive courses and workshops on a wide range of scientific topics. On-site programs provide valuable opportunities for in-depth training, networking, and collaboration within the global cosmetic science community.

Lester Conrad Educational Prize

The Lester Conrad Education Prize is established to assist a Member Society in their Cosmetic Science education programme.

Ecaterina Merica Cosmetic Education Programme

We started Ecaterina Merica Cosmetic Education Programme in 2009 in honour of Prof. Ecaterina Merica, a Romanian member scientist dedicated to bringing cosmetic science education to her country, who passed away in 2008.

The International Speakers Programme (ISP)

This is our oldest education programme and has been highly successful. The ISP brings well-regarded international speakers to IFSCC Member Societies.

PHPSESSID	session	This cookie is native to PHP applications. The cookie is used to store and identify a users' unique session ID for the purpose of managing user session on the website. The cookie is a session cookies and is deleted when all the browser windows are closed.
viewed_cookie_policy	1 year	The cookie is set by the GDPR Cookie Consent plugin to store whether or not the user has consented to the use of cookies. It does not store any personal data.

__utma	2 years	This cookie is set by Google Analytics and is used to distinguish users and sessions. The cookie is created when the JavaScript library executes and there are no existing __utma cookies. The cookie is updated every time data is sent to Google Analytics.
__utmb	30 minutes	Google Analytics sets this cookie, to determine new sessions/visits. __utmb cookie is created when the JavaScript library executes and there are no existing __utma cookies. It is updated every time data is sent to Google Analytics.
__utmc	session	The cookie is set by Google Analytics and is deleted when the user closes the browser. It is used to enable interoperability with urchin.js, which is an older version of Google Analytics and is used in conjunction with the __utmb cookie to determine new sessions/visits.
__utmt	10 minutes	Google Analytics sets this cookie to inhibit request rate.
__utmz	6 months	Google Analytics sets this cookie to store the traffic source or campaign by which the visitor reached the site.
_gat	1 minute	This cookie is installed by Google Universal Analytics to restrain request rate and thus limit the collection of data on high traffic sites.

_ga	2 years	The _ga cookie, installed by Google Analytics, calculates visitor, session and campaign data and also keeps track of site usage for the site's analytics report. The cookie stores information anonymously and assigns a randomly generated number to recognize unique visitors.

yt.innertube::requests	never	This cookie, set by YouTube, registers a unique ID to store data on what videos from YouTube the user has seen.
