We are delighted to announce Mr Jun Miao of Pechoin, China as our 2025 winner of the IFSCC 2025 Maison G de Navarre Young Scientist Essay Prize. We had a record number of valid essay entries this year so this really is a brilliant achievement. Congratulations to Jun Miao and we very much look forward to meeting him at the IFSCC 2025 Cannes Congress in September.

“I am absolutely thrilled and deeply honored to receive this prestigious award. I think I will be too excited to go to sleep tonight!” said Jun Miao on hearing he’d won the prize. “Special thanks to IFSCC and the Committee for your recognition. I will take this opportunity to communicate with other leading scientists and learn from them at the coming IFSCC 2025 Cannes Congress. This experience and career-changing prize will always inspire me to be curious and keep learning, and devote myself to health and beauty industry.”

Jun Miao’s essay, ‘The Science of Healthy Aging: Strategies for Skin Longevity’ was assessed through a blinded review process and was recognized as the best following interviews.

The prize enables him to attend the IFSCC 2025 Congress in Cannes with IFSCC covering all reasonable expenses, up to CHF 5,000. We will be present the award on stage during the Opening Ceremony on 15 September.
