Brain’s Role in Beauty: The Connection Between Stress, Inflammation, and Emotional Well-Being

Explore how the brain shapes the way we experience beauty — and ourselves.

Join Dr Isabel Ramos and Begoña Sanjuán, co-founders of AYUNA • Less is Beauty Research, as they unveil the science behind their acclaimed study, ‘Brain’s Role in Beauty: The Connection Between Stress, Inflammation, and Emotional Well-Being’, selected among the Top 10 Applied Research Papers at IFSCC 2025.

Through clinical and neurophysiological evidence, they reveal how conscious beauty rituals can reprogram the stress-inflammation axis, reducing cortisol by 43.5%, enhancing emotional balance and activating alpha and theta brainwaves linked to calm and focus.

Learn how a simple, mindful skincare ritual becomes a form of biohacking for longevity, transforming beauty into a state of balance, resilience and emotional intelligence.

Science meets consciousness – redefining skincare as a path to emotional well-being.
