SCCJ Annual Congress to be held at Pacifico Yokohama in December 2025

The Society of Cosmetic Chemists of Japan (SCCJ) will host its Annual Congress from 8-10 December 2025 at Pacifico Yokohama in Kanagawa Prefecture.
Recognized as one of Japan’s largest academic conferences dedicated to cosmetic science and technology, this year marks the third edition of the event. The previous Congress drew 1,003 participants, featured 106 research presentations and seven keynote lectures, along with presentations on 54 studies that had been showcased at the IFSCC.
Under the theme ‘Where Cosmetics Meet Happiness’, the 2025 Congress will feature presentations from engineers and researchers representing companies, research institutions and universities involved in cosmetic science. As in the previous year, the program will also include special lectures, including:
- What a dermatologist expects from the future of the cosmetics industry
Dr Tomor - The Era of Opening up New Possibilities Along with AI – How to Cultivate your Intuition and Communication Skills
Ms Kurokawa, Kansai Research Corporation - Visualization of Epidermal Barrier Formation during Cornification
Professor Matsui,Tokyo University of Technology - Pursuing beauty without compromise delivers value
Me Shiraisih, Euclid Corporation - Global sessions by member societies of the Asian Society of Cosmetic Scientists (ASCS), offering an international platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration, will also be held followed by a special lecture from:
