Princia Andriatahina from Madagascar wins 2023 RVTG

The Swiss SCC and DSM are pleased to announce Princia Andriatahina as the 2023 winner of the Rainer Voegeli Travel Grant (RVTG). Princia is working as a third semester hospital intern in the dermatology-venereology department at the Joseph Raseta Befelatanana University Hospital, Antananarivo Madagascar.

The title of Princia’s poster, which she will present at the 2023 IFSCC Congress in Barcelona, is ‘Epidemiological, clinical and therapeutic aspects of alopecia areata in children in the dermatology department of the University Hospital Befelatanana, Antananarivo, Madagascar’. Princia is the second RVTG winner to come from Madagascar. The award covers round-trip coach/economy class travel to Barcelona, Congress registration fees and four nights at a hotel.

The RVTG award is funded by DSM Nutritional Products and is jointly administered by the Swiss Society (SCC) and DSM. It was introduced in 2017, funded initially with prize money won by Rainer Voegeli of DSM at the IFSCC 2016 Congress.
