The second edition of the Sustainability Challenge will take place on 15 October 2024 in Brazil during the 34th IFSCC Congress.

Organized by the Associaçao Brasileira de Cosmetologia (ABC) and supported by L’Oréal Research & Innovation, this challenge was born from a desire to encourage interaction and collaboration between the cosmetics industry, academics and start-ups, enabling them to present their projects in an international environment.

Who is this challenge addressed to?
All innovative cosmetics and beauty start-ups with a sustainable technology, engineering or design solution that meet the needs of responsible cosmetics.

What is in this challenge for start-ups?
To present an innovation in action to the international cosmetics ecosystem. It’s an opportunity for finalists to promote their work, propose options and potentially find future investment partners.

What is the prize for the ultimate winner?
The winner will receive one year’s access to ABC, which will also give them full access to the IFSCC website (webinars, training, IFSCC Magazine, archives, networking…), an additional post, the winner’s announcement on social media at the IFSCC Brazil Congress and a ticket to the 2025 IFSCC Congress in Cannes (France).
