Embracing the Elements NZSCC style with Perry Romanowski

08/17/2023

From 2-4 August 2023 the New Zealand Society of Cosmetic Chemists (NZSCC) held its 43rd Annual  Conference in Napier, New Zealand, with 108 attendees.

This year the theme was ‘Embrace The Elements’, which gave delegates plenty of scope to draw inspiration from when dressing up in costume for the Gala event. They had a substantial conference programme with incredible presentations from many industry leaders and innovators from around Australasia and USA.

One of those speakers was IFSCC Chair of Education, Perry Romanowski, who joined via Teams to present on how Artificial Intelligence (AI) will affect Cosmetic Chemists and Formulation. Perry’s energetic and engaging style and relevant topic was very well received, and delegates appreciated the examples Perry used to illustrate how AI can be useful as well as the pitfalls to look out for. They particularly liked his musical performance at the end!

“We are incredibly grateful to Perry and the IFSCC for their support of our event this year and we look forward to working together more in the future and continuing to strengthen our networks between our delegates and societies around the world,” said Eve Storer-Blake, Immediate Past President, NZSCC.
