Cell longevity is impacted by exposome factors (ROS, AGEs, ALEs) and stress, which can damage DNA, leading cells to apoptosis or senescence. Senescent cells release SASP, affecting nearby cells. BIOGRAPHY
Born in the Principality of Monaco in 1982, Emmanuel Coste studied biology at Nice University (France) where he graduated in 2004. He moved to Paris and Montreal where he got his Master degree in multifactorial genetics at Pierre & Marie Curie University (Paris, France). He then studied cell biology at Edinburgh University (Scotland, UK) where he got his PhD in 2010 thanks to his work on the development of a novel treatment for rheumatoid arthritis. He joined EXSYMOL in 2011, as technical sales representative, and becomes Scientific Marketing Manager in 2020 where he uses his scientific and technical expertise to promote their innovative cosmetic actives worldwide.
