The second Lester Conrad Educational Seminar of the Bulgarian Association of Cosmetologists (BAC) for 2022 took place on 25-26 September in the beautiful town of Hisarya, Bulgaria. The Seminar started with the pioneer of the microbiome products in Bulgaria, Prof Ivan Murgov who presented a lecture on the regulation of skin microbiome. In a special lecture IFSCC Secretary General Mary Lynn Halland presented the organization and activities of the IFSCC, with special emphasis on its history and its contribution to keeping and further developing cosmetic science and education worldwide.

On the second day BAC members were excited to attend lectures from the Chair of the IFSCC Education Committee, Perry Romanowski on Cosmetic ingredients safety and cosmetic product development, and from Prof Christine Lafforgue, past-President of the Société Française de Cosmétologie, on the Physiology and immunology of infant skin.

BAC is very grateful to the IFSCC and its lecturers for the opportunity to hold these meetings exchanging many ideas and inspiring further our creativity.

The final Lester Conrad Educational Seminar of BAC is planned for May 2023.
