“It is with great pleasure and a profound sense of responsibility that I assume the presidency of the IFSCC for the 2024-2025 term. Leading an international organization of such prestige and scientific relevance is an honor that enriches my career and strengthens my personal commitment to advancing cosmetic science.

“This year is especially significant for all of us as our annual Congress was held in Foz do Iguaçu, Brazil. Welcoming so many talented professionals dedicated to advancing cosmetic science on Brazilian soil marks an important milestone of collaboration and knowledge sharing that strengthens our bonds and reinforces our mission.

“Throughout my year as President, I will focus on key priorities to further strengthen the IFSCC and expand our global impact, beginning with fostering collaboration with external organizations, industry partners and scientific societies to maximize the impact of IFSCC initiatives and research. I am also committed to promoting inclusion and diversity, ensuring a wide range of perspectives and voices are heard and valued in our activities.

“As a professor, I believe strongly in the importance of engaging young scientists. I plan to concentrate on attracting new talent and encouraging their active participation and leadership development within the IFSCC. This engagement will be supported by investing in digital technologies to enhance communication, education and involvement for all IFSCC members, while maintaining a focus on sustainability.

“We will work to expand our global reach by exploring new regions for conferences and events, thus broadening the IFSCC’s international presence.

“As president, I am deeply committed to the continuous and sustainable growth of the IFSCC and, above all, to strengthening our bonds as a community. I am grateful for the opportunity to lead this term and look forward to everyone’s participation as we continue to promote scientific excellence and innovation in cosmetic science together.”
